Our CPR/AED courses meet OHS regulations and include the latest CPR guidelines. Our goal is to ensure participants are equipped with the skills and confidence to respond safely in any emergency.

CPR/AED
Level A – (Adult)
Level C – (Adult, Child, Infant)

This course on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), provides the skills to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children and infants.

Course Duration: 5 hours in class OR 3 hrs in class + 3 hrs online learning*
Full Course (3-Year Certification)
Cost: $90.00

Recertification: 3.5 hours in class (Proof of current certification by an approved national provider is required. Cost: $80.00) OR 2.5 hrs in class + 2 hrs online learning*

Heartsaver CPR/AED
Level A – (Adult)
Level C – (Adult, Child, Infant)

This course is designed for everyday Canadians with limited to no medical training. If you need the basics, you’ll get hands-on practice in performing CPR, using an AED and how to relieve choking.

Course Duration: 4 hrs 15 min (With add-on modules)
Heartsaver CPR AED Adult: 1 hr 45m
Heartsaver Child Module: 1 hr 30m
Heartsaver Infant Module: 1 hr

Full Course
Cost: $90.00
Heartsaver CPR AED Completion e-Card will be sent to you upon completion of the course and is valid for one year.

BLS (Basic Life Support)

The BLS Provider Course is designed for healthcare providers and trained first responders who provide emergency care in a variety of pre-hospital and in-hospital settings.

Course Duration: 4 – 5 Hours
Full Course (1-Year Certification)
Cost: $100.00

Recertification: 2.5 hrs (Proof of current certification by an approved national provider is required. Cost: $75.00)

Course Overview:
  • The importance of CPR and its impact on survival
  • The concepts of the Chain of Survival
  • Recognizing when someone needs CPR
  • Perform CPR for adults, children and infants
  • Describe the importance of early use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and demonstrate its use
  • Provide effective ventilations
  • The importance of multi-rescuer resuscitation during CPR
  • Relief of a foreign-body airway obstruction for adults, children and infants

Note: This course is eligible for two (2) credits per hour under section 2 of the MOC Program and satisfies the requirements for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
